The 3M Hookit Sanding Pad is designed to securely attach 3M Hookit sanding and finishing discs and our Finesse-it polishing pads to all kinds of hand sanders. It has a 45° tapered edge for easy smoothing or blending of the sanded area.
If you want to securely attach a 3M Hookit sanding or finishing disc (or a 3M Finesse-it polishing pad) to all kinds of hand sanders, use the 3M Hookit Sanding Pad. Our sanding pad engages the back with ´brushed nylon´ Velcro loops of 3M Hookit Discs and offers a finer finish than discs with an adhesive back. The 3M Hookit Velcro allows discs to be easily attached, removed and reattached, and the disc can be used again and again throughout its lifetime. The discs or pads are secured with J-shaped hooks usually used in home-garden Velcro. Our sanding pad has a 45° tapered edge that provides flexibility and allows you to easily smooth or blend the sanded area. The Hookit System is designed for workshops where self-adhesive discs can become contaminated by dust, dirt or flying particles.
